I bet they do!
Spike's Bitches 25 to Life
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Bah. Got to run. Back home tommorrow! (Maybe one of the only things I miss is my regularly scheduled time with my Bitches!)
Have fun on your last day, Lilty!
Am I a big fat meanie?
I got an e-mail yesterday from someone wanting to see the apartment. Her English is terrible, and I just was not impressed with her inquiry e-mail. When I responded to her, I told her I was interviewing people on Monday and Tuesday and gave her available times, asking her to let me know what time worked best for her.
She e-mailed me back telling me that Thursday at 5pm would work best for her. Um...that wasn't one of the options.
I just e-mailed her back telling her that I'm hoping to have made a decision by Thursday, so could she make herself available on Monday or Tuesday. I really want to just go tell her to bug off.
vw, in this, go with your instincts. Let her come interview if she can manage one of your times, I guess, but don't feel like you have any obligation to someone who doesn't feel right.
Ok. Thanks for the validation. I just feel like I'm being a bit discriminatory. But, the thing is, I already have a landlord that I can't understand half the time. I don't want a roommate I can't communicate properly with.
vw, what happened to reporter guy? Clearly, he's the best one, as he will not be there!

Oh, I *hate* it when people do that! In the process of selling my car, I hear the same thing all the time.

What is it with people? And she's a grad student at BU, so clearly she's not totally stupid.

I'm meeting him on Monday at 2pm. He's my favorite so far. Although, Emily has a good point...it would give us someone to worry about in Iraq...
