Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Oh, and FWIW Nora I once dumped a milkshake into my own lap because I was holding it in my left hand when somebody asked me for the time.

Dh dumped a beer in his prom date's lap, on the way to the prom, when someone asked the time. Poor bugger.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Mmmm, milkshake

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

"What position are you applying for?"
"Medical writer."
"Can you—Shouldn't you have been a doctor, then? You're so smart."

And now she's asking around to try to figure out why I haven't heard anything yet. She's convinced God hates me, or something. (I say that flippantly, but the last phone call told me to get rid of any sort of elephant statues I had, and this one told me to try to apply on Saturdays.)

(It should also be noted that in the background, my sister was saying, "Writing is hard, and he's a good writer!")

brillig

get rid of any sort of elephant statues I had

I'd have thought you'd want Ganesha on your side. This, of course, only goes to show that I have no idea of the intricacies of that sort of thing.

Neither do I. I don't think Ganesha counts, just statues of actual elephants. Or stuffed elephants. Or anything elephant-shaped.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

It should also be noted that in the background, my sister was saying, "Writing is hard, and he's a good writer!")

I think I love P-C's sister. In that non-special Hell sort of way.

I can't even.

Please do not feed my god a peanut.

Apu is the best. Also, He owes me a frappuchino and I have to reprint some documents that were in the snork radius.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think I love P-C's sister. In that non-special Hell sort of way.

Yeah, me too. She's a good ally.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That actually souinds like a slight improvement, P-C. She's trying to help, not praying that this crazy scheme will fail so you will come home and get your PhD.

We did not hide our Ganesha from my MiL when she dropped in (is it a drop in when she tells you several days before she plans to drop in on you, and then calls when she's on the way because she's lost?) on Sunday. No comment was made.
