Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

What's the haircut look like? Thing1 Picture 1 or Thing2Picture2?

A bit of both, but closer to 2 because there just wasn't enough hair to start with to make 1 workable.

The back is very short -- she used a straight razor to raise my hairline about a half-inch above where it naturally is, and I love it. My neck looks really long.

Epic, your cut looks great! I remember chopping my waist-length hair off -- it was hard saying goodbye. But worth it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But I have these vague recollections, from some years back, possibly around the time of Dark Knight, or maybe something else, whereby there was a girl Robin.

Carrie Kelly was Robin in Dark Knight Returns, but that was set in the future and isn't in continuity.

brillig

I am a bad Idolator, because the only video I remember is the White Wedding video, with the Goth wedding and the exploding kitchen.

I expected to be much more emotional about it. I think I dithered for so long that by the time I finally did it I was thankfully sort of matter-of-fact about it. I think those cuts would look great on you by the way.

Speaking of haircuts, that's one thing I really hadn't taken into account. I was used to cutting it maybe twice a year, for split ends. This "trying to maintain a hairstyle" thing is a pain. I had no idea how fast my hair grows. I swear I'm half considering just letting it go and cutting it off when it's long enough to donate again. Except for that whole "Looking Like Crap for Months While it's Growing Out" thing...

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Aha! Yes, okay, that makes sense.

Thank you!

Gods, it really is. It's expensive and time-consuming and an all-around PITA.

(Aside, I took some pictures of my new cut just now, and it looks hands-down TERRIBLE right now because (a) the color is completely faded and dull and (b) it was over-handled at the salon, and is flat and lifeless. So pictures will have to wait until the electricians return, finish the job, and LEAVE SO I CAN TAKE A FUCKING SHOWER.)

eep.

So, I have a question for the DC Universe geeks: as I understand it, there have been four Robins: Dick, SomebodyelsewhoIbelievedied, Tim, and Stephanie (who also died).

Jason is the Somebodyelse.

But I have these vague recollections, from some years back, possibly around the time of Dark Knight, or maybe something else, whereby there was a girl Robin.

As ita notes, that's not in continuity but AU.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've been considering the same thing. I just got back a roll of film that had a few pictures from last November (I donated in January), and got into a whole "I miss my hair" thing. Even though I know that by the time my hair was waist-length like it was in those pictures, I hated taking care of it.

Yo! Electricians! Out. Things need to happen. And by that I mean Pictures of Jessica.

I also need to buy groceries and get a prescription refilled, but I do have priorities...
