Haven't you killed me enough for one day?

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If I can talk the hospital into keeping Hubby in till Sunday, I can go to the concert with a light heart. Hubby's cat is giving me very evil glares, but that I can cope with.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Oh ... I was poking around in the Internet and found this site. No idea what they're like, but I thought the novelty fabrics were interesting.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Unexpected things happen, and I find myself dithering and wanting to hide.

This sounds pretty normal to me, Connie. You've got (at least) 2 Major Life Things smacking you in the face. I'd be pretty surprised if you weren't a little bit shaky. And it makes perfect sense that it strikes you in the small things 'cuz the Big Stuff you've got a handle on.

Hope you party like it's 1989 at the concert!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

You do deserve it! Make it so!

So, I have a question for the DC Universe geeks: as I understand it, there have been four Robins: Dick, SomebodyelsewhoIbelievedied, Tim, and Stephanie (who also died).

But I have these vague recollections, from some years back, possibly around the time of Dark Knight, or maybe something else, whereby there was a girl Robin.

Am I on crack?

(Also, what was the Billy Idol video that was based on the James Mason movie The Seventh Veil? Loved that video. Well, okay, loved the movie, but the video got extra sexy points on that basis.)

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

What's the haircut look like? Thing1 Picture 1 or Thing2Picture2?

A bit of both, but closer to 2 because there just wasn't enough hair to start with to make 1 workable.

The back is very short -- she used a straight razor to raise my hairline about a half-inch above where it naturally is, and I love it. My neck looks really long.

Epic, your cut looks great! I remember chopping my waist-length hair off -- it was hard saying goodbye. But worth it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Carrie Kelly was Robin in Dark Knight Returns, but that was set in the future and isn't in continuity.

I am a bad Idolator, because the only video I remember is the White Wedding video, with the Goth wedding and the exploding kitchen.

I expected to be much more emotional about it. I think I dithered for so long that by the time I finally did it I was thankfully sort of matter-of-fact about it. I think those cuts would look great on you by the way.

Speaking of haircuts, that's one thing I really hadn't taken into account. I was used to cutting it maybe twice a year, for split ends. This "trying to maintain a hairstyle" thing is a pain. I had no idea how fast my hair grows. I swear I'm half considering just letting it go and cutting it off when it's long enough to donate again. Except for that whole "Looking Like Crap for Months While it's Growing Out" thing...

Aha! Yes, okay, that makes sense.

Thank you!
