Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, corgis are herding dogs -- they like to keep busy. They are heelers so they may possibly nip at the heel.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh god, I hope it's clear that I would never ever do it and in no way support kicking dogs of any kind, however annoying. That's awful, Trudes.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Don't want to think about it. Would never, ever do that, no matter how annoying I find some small undisciplined dogs. Want to drop-kick their clueless owners sometimes.

Please don't relate an article about someone kicking a human. Please. Sarcasm, only.

Here's something on corgis. They might be a little active for what you need. [link]

I love the expression on her face, especially considering the shirt. Hee!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

PLEASE tell me they live in old town Alexandra.

Nope. Potomac. Said daughter had an, ahem, rebellious phase in college. She hooked up with someone from a not-so-good section of Baltimore, and Boo was the result. I do believe the father is no longer in the picture.

brenda, I've heard "Boo" as a nickname before (in the South now that you mention it), but combined with his legal name, it gives that child a horrendous hurdle to overcome once he hits grade school.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I know that for reals, yo. And I should have said so when I posted. I used to use the phrase myself occasionally -- but it's just not funny to me anymore.

It's like how certain sexual fantasies are no longer fun after watching PBS speicals on South East Asia.

Compassionately intolerant

Maidengurl, I am given to understand that greyhounds are very laid back. If they can get in one good run a day - at an off leash dog park, say - they'll spend the rest of their time happily lazing about and leaning against people getting their heads scratched. I assume the smaller racing dogs are similar.

This has been my experience of the many greyhound rescues in the 'hood. Most are v.v. laid back...like "we can't GET him off the couch", except for the days they go out to the local track for reunion runs. They are also clean and quite elegant.

Our corgi buddies are hilarious and generally sweet natured (boys) but can sometimes be bossy (girls).

On the people naming front, I believe I've mentioned here before that my given name is Bonny and that the first person I ever met who spelled it the same is an African American Man. Bonny Prince Charles.

The whole royalty naming thing makes me want to do a study of life success. Do Prince's really succeed more (Rogers, not withstanding)?

And do all the Uniques in my neighborhood really stand out?

eta: I'm not generally killed by cute, but that Lily pic did me in. And great job on that shirt JZ. I want one!
