Oof, Allyson. I have to run to a lecture. I'll have to read it later.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

That's lovely, Allyson.

Damn allergies

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Wonderful, Allyson.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh, Allyson. That's so freaking beautiful.

hip deep in pie

The question in my mind after reading that is when are we bringing Nilly back?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You could use toxic thread in the embroidery of a Roy Rogers-ish western shirt, of course.

Kind of a modern update of that coat stained with Hydra blood that burned itself into Hercules' skin?

Every syllable was punctuated with gratitude

This. Nilly is the most gracious person I have ever met.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Allyson, that was truly lovely.

Any suggestions?

And, to be contrary to previous suggestions, when I was shopping for a machine, 2 of my friends who are costumers said, "Friends don't let friends buy Brother, Europro or White."

Their suggestions were Singer or Viking.

If I only had a brain...

Singer are absolute crap nowadays. They sold the name, the gears are plastic, don't go there.

I lurves my Bernina. You're really better off buying a used high-end machine than buying a cheap low-end machine. Especially if you don't need machine embroidery (I don't), you can get a good deal on an older machine traded in by somebody who does want it.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The question in my mind after reading that is when are we bringing Nilly back?

For the book release party?
