Hey Tim, if you're still here I have a fannish question...:
If The Inside had continued what direction would you have taken with season 2 and the Pony Man?
I think that's pretty much the extent of my curiosity.
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

How'd it develop the culture to be about soaps and crafts as well?
Spidra, I was trying to joke. Soaps and crafts are the main topic that the natter in this thread (which happens in each and every thread) happened to go it, for quite a few hunderds of posts. So your first assumption is 100% correct.
Spidra, it's just where the conversation has gone from time to time. Soaps and crafts. And procrastination.
Jackal, considering I'm usually still breaking a story and way behind while it's prepping... uh. Er. Someplace? I figured he'd be the big bad of the season. One thought was to have Pre-Filer either get released or escape and have him offer Pony Man up to Rebecca.
Aw, Nilly did her spicy brain thing, and now I want to rewatch.
Oh, and Rebecca would have totally gone for it. And there would have been some Faith-like cutting with the knives. 'cause, always funny.
Thanks, Tim. Of course now I feel even more depressed it didn't last longer.
Thank you, Kristen!
You're quite welcome! I wish I had the others so I could post those too.
I loved the part in which Web chooses to call Rebecca by the full name, the one she was not using for herself. He's already changing the person in front of him, designing her more like he wants her to be rather than who she was when she entered the room, and he starts with the most personal and most outward thing, a name. Am I putting too much into this?
I don't think so. That was my take on it as well. (Though Tim could tell us we're wrong.)
Oh, and "Carla" is now Melody, right?
IIRC, something didn't work out with the Carla character so they changed it to Melody and cast Katie.
Thanks Jackal, but I'm fine with it. The new thing? Best thing I've done. I had a meeting at NBC last week and the executive's assistants told me "Drive" was their favorite pilot script (they rank the competish). It's all buzzy. Screw serial killers, gimme some glib 16 year old girls.
Tim, if you're still here - Did you choose the names for the characters? How does naming a character works?
(Also, Jen! How good to "see" you! And with your "Wonderfalls" tagline, you're completely on topic, too!)
[Edit:
something didn't work out with the Carla character so they changed it to Melody and cast Katie.
So it was a different character altogether? Was any of her lines changed, her story, or what?]
