"Don' be e-scared"

Oh, and Rebecca would have totally gone for it. And there would have been some Faith-like cutting with the knives. 'cause, always funny.

It's not that I'm the only one, it's that I'm the honest one.

Thanks, Tim. Of course now I feel even more depressed it didn't last longer.

Thank you, Kristen!

You're quite welcome! I wish I had the others so I could post those too.

I loved the part in which Web chooses to call Rebecca by the full name, the one she was not using for herself. He's already changing the person in front of him, designing her more like he wants her to be rather than who she was when she entered the room, and he starts with the most personal and most outward thing, a name. Am I putting too much into this?

I don't think so. That was my take on it as well. (Though Tim could tell us we're wrong.)

Oh, and "Carla" is now Melody, right?

IIRC, something didn't work out with the Carla character so they changed it to Melody and cast Katie.

Thanks Jackal, but I'm fine with it. The new thing? Best thing I've done. I had a meeting at NBC last week and the executive's assistants told me "Drive" was their favorite pilot script (they rank the competish). It's all buzzy. Screw serial killers, gimme some glib 16 year old girls.

Tim, if you're still here - Did you choose the names for the characters? How does naming a character works?

(Also, Jen! How good to "see" you! And with your "Wonderfalls" tagline, you're completely on topic, too!)

[Edit:

something didn't work out with the Carla character so they changed it to Melody and cast Katie.

So it was a different character altogether? Was any of her lines changed, her story, or what?]

Wheee!! That kind of feedback has got to leave you chuffed. Major x-ed fingers and toes on this one having real...ahem...momentum.

Any chance you could do an outline and get someone to do an "Inside" comic book so we could see the whole arc?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Screw serial killers, gimme some glib 16 year old girls.

That all sounds highly illegal.

If CSI's taught me anything it's that they can be one in the same, so crossover...?

I'm returning to my lurking corner now.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Spidra, I was trying to joke.

Ah.

Did you know there's a picture of me right next to the dictionary definition of "gullible". I think there's a profile picture of me next to "credulous".

Although I have to say that when I made my return to b.org, I really tried to be conservative in my posting so that I could get a feel for which threads were suited to which subject matters. Both de jure and de facto.

And I bloody well enjoyed watching that link to the unaired Wonderfalls pilot. (a) because I don't own the set yet and it was nice to see that 'verse again (b) because it really illustrates how much better Lee Pace and Tracey Thoms were and (c) just seeing Katie Finneran again cracked me up with the memory of her "I've got to call him" comments on the commentary track.
