What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The word "skein" continues to hurt my soul.

Art Crawl!!!

Do you think that Scifi is going to go right into season 2? Or make us wait?

Possibly doing season 2 here during the mid-season hiatus of the Stargates? (While the Brits get Torchwood and Season 3?)

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

The word "skein" continues to hurt my soul.

Yes. I don't get its usage. I understand what they're trying to say, but it doesn't make sense to me. A skein is a ball of yarn in my world.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

A yarn is another word for a story.

A One that isn't cold, is scarcely A One at all.

I was super excited, at first, thinking it was the series that Gale Harold is in. But then I remembered that he's in the other pilot about searching for someone from a powerful family that gets kidnapped.

That's "Vanished" on FOX. A Senator's wife gets kidnapped. I did a day on the pilot as an extra. They told us it was "24" meets "Without a Trace."

I think we're seeing a trend where shows are basically season long mini series and if they don't get make it to a full season or to a second season they can still make money on DVD.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Huh, hadn't realised the US was only half way through Who S1. No idea if they'll run straight into series 2.

This is Sci-Fi we're talking about. Any sort of scheduling permutation is possible. They could stop at 1x8, wait six months, and then show the rest of S1, and then show the first three episodes of S2.

We're just damn lucky that they're showing them in order.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Well, technically they did miss the previous 18 series, Tom ;)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We're just damn lucky that they're showing them in order.

Do they usually not? They have so little "original" (by which I mean shown for the first time in the US, not stuff that originated with them) scripted series TV (isn't it just the Stargates and BSG?) that who knows?

They do, I was just being sarcastic.
