I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

To kill without leaving the house, you have to have somebody in the house.

Think outside the box! You can mail death. You can launch death from turrets. You can radio-control death.

You can lure victims over through the internet. (Or maybe that just works for trees.)

What is even happening?

WOLFRAM!!! Welcome back! How's the newest addition? How are you and the whole family?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

To kill without leaving the house, you have to have somebody in the house.

The killing is coming from inside the house!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The victim is inside the house!

Aha, x-post thinky.

Hey Cindy! I'm actually still here, albeit supporting people by email. Baby's great and totally being smothered by her siblings. And I'm on my last three days at my soon-to-be old job!

Some news:

DRIVE (FOX) - Greg Yaitanes ("Bones"), who's already behind fellow FOX drama "Southern Comfort," has been tapped to direct the 20th Century Fox Television-based pilot, an ensemble drama about an illegal cross-country road race. He'll work from a script by creators Ben Queen and Tim Minear. No casting has been announced for the project.

Well, I'm still alive, so this skill still needs some improving.

(Joe, backsent.)

(Oh, and P-C! I hadn't posted with you in forever! I didn't get to congratulate you on the job, wish you a smooth move, or anything!)

(Oh, and one last pirate thing: the "arrrr" jokes are even funnier for me because the letter that's pronounced most differently, at least for me, in Hebrew and when I try to properly pronounce English, is the "r". So it's like: how would an Israeli pirate sound? Will an Israeli and an English-speaking pirates be able to communicate through their very different "arrrr"s, assuming that's all their language is composed of? Or will the different pronunciation result in a sea battle? Big practical questions like that.)
