Ooh, "Little Girl Lost" is nice. Especially because I totally have a soft spot for
manifestations of voices in people's heads.
That was a very cool way to
show how much Rebecca's abduction has made her who she is. And I laughed at the abductor's goading leading to "When you take control, it will be all the sweeter."
And I only guessed that
the girl hadn't been real about ten seconds before the reveal. Because I smelled a reveal. Before that, I was all ready to come here and say, "This show is so fucked up, and Tim really likes to have little kids commit violence."
The first part still holds true.
One thing that's always interested me about the show is that it's almost never a simple whodunit. That's not what the show's about. I wonder if marketing it in that way might have made more people check it out, people who would have ordinarily dismissed it as just another procedural.
Finally, props for the
"fallacy"/"phallus-y" joke.
That was fucking clever.
Hurray. Me and cat send thankings (and indeed, puuring) Kristen.
That was in the re-shooting, not so much the re-writing, Strega.
Oh, I know. But still funny.
P-C, or any VM fan who saw "Little Girl Lost," did you think "Jesus, it's Duncan Kane!" when you first saw Robie in the helicopter (through the glass)? Look at it again. It's at 15:25 or so in the file I downloaded. Could just be me, but I don't think so.
HA! Yeah, I can see it.
Another thing I liked was the
blur effect on Rebecca's abductor. Made him very ghosty!
Another thing I liked was
It got more pronounced later on, right? It wasn't just the bottle that I half killed? Well... I guess you can't answer the second one, but you can weigh in on the first.
Oh, yeah,
he's much more corporeal early on, and he gets blurrier and blurrier.
It's cool.
I forgot how to do the invisi-text thing, so I'll just say the thing you mention, how it gets more the thing later? The first time it's in a dream (which is clearly a dream) so no need for any effect.
Oh, of course, but even the first time she
sees him licking the ice cream cone, he's totally clear, though that could be more of a vision. I don't remember how blurry he is the first time he's all Six-y in the forest.
To do the inivisi-text thing, hit Return and start the new line with
s
followed by the spoilery business. Hit return and continue to speak in blackfont once more.
Why...what could this be?
