Wesley: And how does your kind define love? Demon: Same as all bodies. Same as everywheres. Love is sacrifice.

The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Well, you can ask, Victor.

You are a coy, coy man, Minear!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I love that Coyote Ugly follows The Cherry Orchard in her imdb credits. Nice range.

How many of them aren't body parts?

Oh wait! I got one!

The "New Jersey" bridge used in the movie is actually on Long Island and leads to the island where my folks live.

ETA: And, you know, as further proof that The Godfather is the center of the universe...Sonny Corleone was killed on said bridge. Though I'm not sure that's where they filmed it.

A One that isn't cold, is scarcely A One at all.

So I'm looking at Melanie Lynskey's gallery on IMDB and I see her in a pic with Peter Paige from an appearance for a movie they did together and he looks familiar. After checking his IMDB profile I see I was an extra on an episode of "Related" that he was on. I guess that puts me two degrees of separation from Melanie Lynskey...sorta kinda.

Even better, last week I was an extra on "The Closer" last week which stars Kyra Sedgewick who we know is married to Kevin Bacon which puts me 1 degree of separation from Kevin Bacon. How cool is that? Yeah ok I know it doesn't really count but it's a victimless crime.

Whoa, I'm originally from Long Island. Small world.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

1 degree of separation from Kevin Bacon.

2, actually. One from you to Kyra, and one from her to the Bacon.

If I only had a brain...

Melanie Lynskey WHOOO!!! (For some reason, when I first read that, my brain saw "Melanie Lynskey" and thought "Riff Regan". I need to get my pointers re-initialized.)

Our wings are not tired.

She currently plays Rose on "Two and a Half Men". She's easily the best thing on the show.

Ah yes. DH watches this. She is fun on th e show. (I never can get through an ep though because the laugh track turns me into insane woman)

I'm not big on remembering names so I did the Google thing and Tim will be so very relieved that I approve.
