You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

It may be the best show on Television right now.

Or not.

Punishingly Intricate

it takes a bossy to know a bossy.

hee! so true!

I can't go to the place where they discuss the BSG because I'm behind so I was just excited for an opportunity to declare my love. sorry! Here's some craft talk to make up for it:

My friend had twins last week and they are Perfect but tiny because they were 6 weeks early. They only had one little hat each from the hospital and the newborn hats came down to, like, their shoulders so that wasn't going to do at all. So, she had the brilliant idea to make them hats out of the toe ends of soft, thick slipper socks. Genius! Stylish and practical. The perfect craft!

If I only had a brain...

If people are starved for bossiness, well, they can eat me.

Would that make me bossier? Is it like putting paramecia through blenders and then feeding them to other paramecia?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I am so not buying the VitaminWater Bossy.

What is even happening?

Cindy am I going to have to start another intensive pimp session to get you to watch BSG or are you just going to straight up admit that I got it right with VM and that you bow to my superior superiorness and you'll run out, right now, and get the BSG DVD goodies?

I'm not interested in it, at all. I don't know why. I didn't watch the movie or series back in the 70s (80s?) either.

I'd much rather have Cindy!posts on House. Oooh, or Doctor Who. Which conveniently begins sometime soonish, I think.

Oh, I can't watch House. I tried, and I think Hugh Laurie is fantastic, but the show makes me think too much about illness. We gave it a go, but it's just not for me. Also? It felt a tad too formulaic to me. If House thought he found a diagnosis at 20 to the hour, I knew it was wrong. Is it still that way?

In theory, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Dr. Who fan, except for the fact where I've never watched it. When does it start up?

Cindy, Cindy, Cindy. Admit the rightness of us BSG fans. Give in to it.

If you're saying it's right, this means that it's wrong, right?

BSG is neither a craft, a soap, or FCM. Get your own thread and get offa our lawn!

Judging by my fl on lj, BSG is one enormous soap. There's too much devotion, frustration, and anxiety for it to be anything else.

Clearly BSG needs to hire Rick Springfield, Jack Wagner and John Stamos to play pilots who knit so we can talk about who we would FCM.

Okay, this might get me to watch. (cc: UTTAD)

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

BSG had a fantastic first season. this season overall has left me wanting. so i don't go out of my way to recommend it to people.

Cindy, i think you'd enjoy Doctor Who. he's definitely snarky and not at all formulaic. it starts up tomorrow in SG: Atlantis' timeslot, i believe.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

it starts up tomorrow in SG: Atlantis' timeslot, i believe.

And continues through BSG's - two back-to-back episodes.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Here = MI?

Here = CA. I go back to MI Saturday.

P-C, you got a place to live yet? What areas are you looking at?

Since I'm officially only an intern for three months, I don't want to get an apartment immediately, but assuming I'm hired full-time at the end of May, I think I want to live in Berkeley.

I'm not interested in it, at all. I don't know why. I didn't watch the movie or series back in the 70s (80s?) either.

I wasn't interested either, but other people's love made me check out the mini because it was summer and I had nothing to watch anyway. I watched the mini all in one night, even though I wasn't going to. And then I watched the entire first season in one day.

Judging by my fl on lj, BSG is one enormous soap. There's too much devotion, frustration, and anxiety for it to be anything else.

...really? I know you're partly joking, but I don't think of BSG as soapy at all. There are far too many ethical dilemmas and killer robots.

Cindy, i think you'd enjoy Doctor Who. he's definitely snarky and not at all formulaic.

Yes!
