Since I'm officially only an intern for three months, I don't want to get an apartment immediately, but assuming I'm hired full-time at the end of May, I think I want to live in Berkeley.
I'm not interested in it, at all. I don't know why. I didn't watch the movie or series back in the 70s (80s?) either.
I wasn't interested either, but other people's love made me check out the mini because it was summer and I had nothing to watch anyway. I watched the mini all in one night, even though I wasn't going to. And then I watched the entire first season in one day.
Judging by my fl on lj, BSG is one enormous soap. There's too much devotion, frustration, and anxiety for it to be anything else.
...really? I know you're partly joking, but I don't think of BSG as soapy at all. There are far too many ethical dilemmas and killer robots.
Cindy, i think you'd enjoy Doctor Who. he's definitely snarky and not at all formulaic.

I'll never give up my rent controlled apartment in the gourmet ghetto. The DH has tried to bribe me out of it with promises of a puppy, but I won't give up my walk to work or cheap rent.
