The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What is even happening?

That article (and that excerpt) is pretty profoundly spoilery.
About future episodes? The excerpt doesn't look spoilery to me for anything that hasn't happened yet.
If, like me, you're on tape-delay for the last two or three weeks of 24, you don't want to know either what's revealed in the article or the excerpt.

I think the rules are ambiguous in a thread like this (or Bitches), that is NAFDA but not tied to any specific show.

From the FAQ

Q. NAFDA? Is that an international Buffista treaty?
A. Ummm..... No. It's the North American Free Discussion Area. We have many posters who aren't from North America and are therefore half a season or more behind. In order to keep them unspoiled, we limit discussion of current episodes to specific threads. These are the NAFDA threads. If it's not labeled as a NAFDA thread, don't talk about current episodes in it. We also ask that you don't discuss one show's current season in another show's topic without whitefont, because some people are on tape delay. This means that events from the current season of Buffy should be whitefonted in the Angel topic and vice versa.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

If you're on tape delay, NAFDA threads are going to be dangerous places to be.

So I deserve to be spoiled for *all* character deaths in all shows in any NAFDA thread?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I added a warning. I apologize for not making the spoilery nature of the article more clear.

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

At the risk of violating the spoiler policy I heard a rumor that Minearverse 5 will have widespread carnage.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Looks like Minearverse 4 is gonna have a spoiler smackdown.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The conversation of this thread has ranged past Tim-involved shows for a long time now. I thought it unsurprising to see current season discussion of shows outside his 'verse and am pretty sure it's happened before--it's more like the way Bitches is NAFDA than the Lost thread.

I'm not sure where you're going with the deserve to be spoiled thing (people who read that chick's column didn't deserve to be spoiled, because details of a TV show aren't things one deserves, in my book), bon, but you've been lucky up until now.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Life is eternal, Love is immortal, and death is only an illusion.

It's not you, it's them... and they both still love you lots.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

As a direct result of that night, I have moved 3000 miles to a new job, gotten a divorce, and fallen in love with one of the people posting that night.

Whee! My postiversary must be coming up too! I think it's April 4 or so, whenever Tim announced the cancellation news.
