The funniest part (to me, anyway) is that I hardly ever look at the comments on his lj. But I was bored. And then I saw Whedon mentioned, and then Minear. And then after I stopped laughing, I saw who'd mentioned Tim in the first place, and that Victor was over there, too.
And then I tattled! Shamelessly!
I'm sure Ellis is just calling Tim names because he's resentful about the Godfather advice. He's lashing out. Sad, really.
Is Warren Ellis persona non grata around these parts? Because, that's the impression I'm getting.
ETA: Not that I would be offended if no one around here cares for Ellis. I'm not a comic book person, as it were.

I kind of have a "witty jackhole" impression of Ellis personality-wise, but at least he's entertaining.
I have been loving Ellis' LJ. I find him to be hysterical. I even ordered 4 Transmetropolitan trade paperbacks this week.

Yeah, I must've overlooked Allyson's (and others') earlier remarks about Ellis completely. I skimmed, but apparently, I didn't do a good job of it. Taken out of context, the more recent remarks came across to me as disparaging, or at least, somewhat critical. Then again, the level of snark here runs so high....

I think your impression is mistaken. Not everybody knows or loves him, but Warren has many, many longtime fans here.

Not wanting to dwell on him having sex with Joss isn't quite disparaging. I don't want to dwell on anyone having sex with...well, anyone, mostly.
