Zoe: Captain will come up with a plan. Kaylee: That's good. Right? Zoe: Possibly you're not recalling some of his previous plans.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I kind of have a "witty jackhole" impression of Ellis personality-wise, but at least he's entertaining.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I have been loving Ellis' LJ. I find him to be hysterical. I even ordered 4 Transmetropolitan trade paperbacks this week.

I'm sure Ellis is just calling Tim names because he's resentful about the Godfather advice.

But! But! The Godfather is the I Ching. The Godfather is the sum of all wisdom. The Godfather is the answer to any question.

Someone skips and doesn't even skim....

So I'm a douchebag. This isn't news to anyone, is it?

Yeah, I must've overlooked Allyson's (and others') earlier remarks about Ellis completely. I skimmed, but apparently, I didn't do a good job of it. Taken out of context, the more recent remarks came across to me as disparaging, or at least, somewhat critical. Then again, the level of snark here runs so high....

Again, douchebag.

Now, say something blasphemous about Michael J. Nelson, and I just might have to end you.

Like, say, the inescapable truth that Joel was infinitely better?

Like that ever closes...

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Is Warren Ellis persona non grata around these parts? Because, that's the impression I'm getting.

I think your impression is mistaken. Not everybody knows or loves him, but Warren has many, many longtime fans here.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Taken out of context, the more recent remarks came across to me as disparaging, or at least, somewhat critical.

Not wanting to dwell on him having sex with Joss isn't quite disparaging. I don't want to dwell on anyone having sex with...well, anyone, mostly.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

t stands in Frank's corner

I haven't read any of Ellis' stuff, though I did enjoy the Global Frequency pilot, so I just assume he's trying to be amusing rather than insulting.

Was it here or Jossverse (or both) that Joss and Ellis' little flamewar was linked to?

If I only had a brain...

Except George Clooney can have sex in my head any time.
