I actually didn't hate Jason Priestly. I started watching after he joined, and kind of appreciated having something approaching ongoing tension. Unfortunately, he didn't make enough of a difference.
He added a better sense of mythology to the show, and you're right, some actual ongoing tension. The second season was shaping up to be pretty good, really. There were plot arcs! More than one, even! Intertwining!
I didn't like the addition of Jason Priestly, because I kept getting taken out of the story by thinking how they were ripping off Quantum Leap.
I've left the air conditioned comfort of my room for the hot TV lounge, for my first ever East Coast watch and post!

Awesome! This is the first time since the pilot I've been able to participate. I'm going to eat ice cream.
I get to participate this time too!
My horoscope said I should find a new job far away and move, start a new life.
Hm. That's sort of nervous-making.
Why is Mandy Patinkin advertising prescription drugs??? I am angered, at either him or the world that isn't giving him a much cooler job.

Haven't you already done that once?
I love this song. "On is the loneliest number... dum de dum..." and she's gonna die, huh.
