Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

What is even happening?

Kristen, all the best to you! And what ita's mother would say, too. Just go in there and be all Kristen. They'll love you.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Go Kristen! Knock their socks off.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The luck part comes in with all the external stuff you can't control

I'm not pooh-poohing the wishes for Kristen's luck -- if you want a defense of my mother's PoV, I'm more than happy to give you her phone number.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm not pooh-poohing (poo? Pooh?) either! Just amplifying.

Dear Kristen: EVERYTHING GOOD, inside and out!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

X-ing fingers and toes for Kristen. Knock 'em dead!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Go, Kristen!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Go, Kristen!!!!!

What is even happening?

Jesse, take ita's mother's number. Think of the power, girl. It's just a phone call away.

Ah, Cindy. You knowest not my mother.

Kristen - Dec 13, 2005 9:25:50 am PST #7029 of 10001

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I am pleased to report that I am much calmer this morning. (Thank you GOD. I had moments last night where I thought I was either going to cry or throw up.) But they moved up the delivery of my new coffee/dining table to this morning so, instead of stressing about the interview, I was able to stress about the table not arriving before I needed to leave for the interview.

But now it's here! (From FRANCE.) Later, I will share pictures and force you all to marvel at the wonder of the yoyo table.

For now, I'm going to fix my hair, put on some makeup and get dressed. I have to stop at the Bean and then Kinkos before my interview. Since it seems all the paper I have in my house is three hole punched which doesn't do me much good for printing out my resume.

Thanks again for the good thoughts! I will report back after the interview.
