You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I really, really want a series of The Inside novels, written by the show's writing team.

A script book would be most excellent. They read like wee pulp novels, so sexy and dark.

I've reread Declawed a few times, it's just that enjoyable.

I swear, I'm going to get banned from every board that isn't this one. Ima kill the Monday morning quarterbacks who know SO MUCH MORE about what Tim should have done, how he should think, blah blah blah.

Although, he really should toss all those Autumn colors in his wardrobe. He's most definately a Winter.

And I should stop reading other boards.

Allyson, stay away from other boards. Stay here. I can throw large paragraphs at your screen, if it may help.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You know, I've been meaning to mention that.

He totally clashes with the beagles too.

I totally had to walk away from places earlier. Probably the same places.

I just don't get some people. Like, if someone tells me they got fired or laid off or something, I'm not going to say, "Oh I'm really sorry to hear that. But, honestly, I've always thought you were an idiot so I think it's for the best." Or if you say your grandmother died, I don't think an appropriate response is, "Sorry to hear that. But you know she smelled funny."

I have no nice response to any of them. Except, of course...

Allyson, Kristen, may I just join to those who want some sort of Allyson-and-Kristen show, to go along with, well, the DVDs of the actual Tim show? Because if I can't watch anything with you, at least I can enjoy your wit and spicy brains.

[Edit: it's not helping much, is it? Sorry. I just don't understand people, too.]

Aww, Nilly. I'd love to do a DVD commentary! I do that that the studio would not be so enthused. But I'll talk along with my DVDs at home so it'll be all interactive and stuff.

Should be noted that Buffy would have been canceled after four episodes if it aired on FOX, today. And then there'd be no Buffistas at all.

So sad.

Why do you go other places? It's scary out there. I pretty much just stay here. We have theoretical pie and everything.

Mmmm. Pie...

See, that's exactly what I want - only, you know, with a mic or something, so that I can pretend I'm in the room with you. I can even visualize the room, I can pretend where I sit and how Ruby would glare at me and everything.

Also, I'm sorry you have to face such reactions. I totally don't understand that sort of response, as well. I mean, I can even understand from where the people with the failed-before-it-started approach are coming from (though, well, not agree with that sort of approach), but not the "you were an idiot anyway" sort of response. What sort of good does it do?

Should be noted that Buffy would have been canceled after four episodes if it aired on FOX, today.

I'm trying to think, 13 episodes, that's a whole story. Not a long novel with lots and lots of chapters which is hard to carry in your backpack around because it makes it heavy, but still. A few movies' worth, in length, and it seems like it's going to get some of the on-going developments of plot and character which makes tv, in a way, even better than a 2-hours movie. So, it's something. A thing that didn't exist last year, and is here now. And I still can't wait to get to watch it, as short and full of unfulfilled potential as it may be.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I'm sorry Tim. I spent the weekend pimping the show. Now I feel bad for everyone involved.
