[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Friends don't let friends dismiss Veronica Mars unjustly.

jengod, it was my understanding that Fury's TI time was for this first 13 episodes, so I think he had a hand in things. Others would know better than I, of course.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just spent the afternoon with someone who had never heard of Dancing With The Stars, and didn't actually believe me that (a) it exists and (b) is a huge hit. Sadly, he had never heard of The Inside, either.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Tim, don't take this wrong way, but I'm beginning to think of your shows as haiku -- short-lived and beautiful.

Of course now they need to let you have a "Beowulf" for a while.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Maybe you could re-tool as a reality show, Tim.

Hire a REAL LIVE kidnap victim and replace Rebecca. Or, better yet, keep the whole cast and each week snatch an actual human. It'll be on the news (if you stick with pretty blondes) that's all sorts of great free publicity. And then when they "find" the "victim" you give them a makeover, a book deal, and an episode of Oprah.

"Waiting to be recognised, quite applause will do. They shower you with flowers, when they bury you." -Brave -Marillion.

Sorry to hear the news Tim. Like Wonderfalls, by the time the word was spread...If only there was a way to cut the networks out of the deal. Can you say what current contractual obligations are? Questions were raised elsewhere about rather or not you are "free". I loved the show and it will be missed as WF and FF are. Hope to see more from you soon. looking forward to the rest of this run and the DVDs.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I really, really want a series of The Inside novels, written by the show's writing team.

A script book would be most excellent. They read like wee pulp novels, so sexy and dark.

I've reread Declawed a few times, it's just that enjoyable.

I swear, I'm going to get banned from every board that isn't this one. Ima kill the Monday morning quarterbacks who know SO MUCH MORE about what Tim should have done, how he should think, blah blah blah.

Although, he really should toss all those Autumn colors in his wardrobe. He's most definately a Winter.

And I should stop reading other boards.

Allyson, stay away from other boards. Stay here. I can throw large paragraphs at your screen, if it may help.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You know, I've been meaning to mention that.

He totally clashes with the beagles too.

I totally had to walk away from places earlier. Probably the same places.

I just don't get some people. Like, if someone tells me they got fired or laid off or something, I'm not going to say, "Oh I'm really sorry to hear that. But, honestly, I've always thought you were an idiot so I think it's for the best." Or if you say your grandmother died, I don't think an appropriate response is, "Sorry to hear that. But you know she smelled funny."

I have no nice response to any of them. Except, of course...
