Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

At some point in my life I want to take an ocean liner to Europe.

eta: Or maybe take a few months off to take a cruise around the world.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

WHERE IS MY FLYING CAR?!

Where is the land of the great customer service?

There's this Pakastani restaurant a mile or two west of me...

Or maybe take a few months off to take a cruise around the world.

There is a ship called The World that takes 2 years to sail around the world. You'd need to have a chunk of change saved up.

Yeah, me too. I'm seriously considering taking the family on one of the Alaska glacier cruises in the meantime. Before they vanish.

My parents did that two years ago. They brought back some beautiful pictures.

I've never heard anybody be less than thrilled after going on one of those.

Alaska glacier cruises in the meantime

Betsy we did that cruise in May of '04 and it was without a doubt the best vacation we've had (and that's saying a lot since we've been on some really cool vacations -- Hawaii and London just to name two). I heartily recommend it to everyone! The kids (age 12 and 8 then) had a great time and so did the adults, even my mom who isn't able to get around all that much had a wonderful time.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Is this still the procrastination thread? I can't seem to bring myself to care about work today.

I'd answer that question, but I can't seem to get around to it.

For me, every thread is the procrastination thread. Heck, the whole damn internet is the precrastination thread.

I'm bored.
