Mine too. We're going to be the night owls next week, I guess.
The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
It wouldn't bother me so much if I didn't need to do a whole bunch of laundry, which I can't do at midnight.
I need to do that too. Also vacuum.
More than that though, I have something I wanted to post in LJ, and LJ is down right now.
I know! I have comments I want to respond to.
Instead, I'm watching Seven.
LJ is down right now.
Yes. It is.
t pokes the lj status blog. Again.
It's up again, and has been for a while.
Sadly, the same thing can be said of me.
Belated woohoos! for Kristen.
And this is so not meant to rain on parades or anything, I just am curious... If you don't make it past this point, is getting this far the kind of thing that can still propel you forward? Kind of like how apparently some of the other finalists in American Idol also got recording contracts even though they didn't win?
Allow me to take this opportunity to brag about Kristen for a minute.
Kristen made the top 50 out of thousands of submissions. The people who select the top tier are producers, professors, and big time mucky mucks. So making the semi-finals of the most prestigious of fellowship contests in the biz is an enormous thing to put on a query letter. Means that lots of people who hire writers thought she was the bees knees.
But you know she rocked out the phone interview. I mean, duh.
I thought that might be the case but I wasn't sure so I'm glad Allyson likes to brag.
I look forward to seeing Kristen's name pop up on a television screen in the near future, since TV is her thang.
I'm looking forward to her being a showrunner and hiring me to sit on my ass and stare at a wall.
