Kristen, shouldn't you be asleep?

Kristen - Nov 14, 2005 3:58:14 am PST #6151 of 10001

I absolutely should be. Yet, I am not.

My sleep schedule is seriously fucked. I'm hoping that maybe I can just stay up until 9 or 10 tonight and get it back on track.

In related news, I could totally go for a Sausage McMuffin right now. I don't know what it is about sleep deprivation that always leads to a McDonald's run.

If wishes were horses we'd all be eating steak.

I don't know what it is about sleep deprivation that always leads to a McDonald's run.

It's usually temporary insanity that does it for me.

OK, reading this thread after 4ish days? SO FREAKING ADORABLE.

What sara said. Including the whitefont and everything.

And now, to the meMeME part of the post:

We saw that they all had these little sheets to grade Tim's performance, and John snapped, "DO NOT TELL HIM ABOUT THAT UNTIL AFTER."

At the end of every semester, both the physics department and the students' society run two different polls, during class, in which the students have to grade the professors and the TAs. In front of us. So each time I try to quip something about how I bribed my students to grade me well and just have to stand there and wait until they're finished and pretend I don't want to go over page after page and see what were the problems they listed so that I can start fixing them right at that moment and then have them correct their impressions because things would have improved.

It took me a second to realize that the fact that you're talking about a sun that is setting in the morning and the capitalization of the first letter of that process actually explain each other. I'm so from-somewhere-else.

I almost typed "Sunset at Sunrise" but it felt too Fiddler for me.

Sunset at Sunrise

Hmm, I wonder if it would have helped my little brain, or confused it even more.

Is it all empty and peaceful and differrent from how it is during the more regular hours?

There are no cars now. In two hours, it's going to be bumper-to-bumper traffic.

Wow. From the little I saw, I don't think I can imagine LA without traffic.
