Let me guess. We're in a hurry.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Boxing him up and sending him to China was a reward! I'm listening to the commentary for Healing, and that was certainly an ep I thought could have gone way darker.

Which looks odd, now that I've typed it, and Profit's onscreen talking to the psychiatrist about having raped his patients.

But I still think I mean it.

Man, the friend I'm lending these to is going to be a bit offended.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Mine were stolen! Or, at least they were taken advantage of.

I was a little tipsy and a little high on the whole showing off your new toy thing, so when he asked if he could borrow them I was all "Sure!" Then the next day I wake up, looking for where I put the case, and he's all "But you said it was ok!"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was all "I saw the first two episodes, and I thought of you!" He was a little blustery, but he's also the only guy in the room who'd seen Audition (and he enjoyed it), plus he makes Damocles jokes. So, obviously, not about fluffy puppies.

I am with ita on Gail's reward. Well, and her reward was the boxing, too. Which she didn't appreciate. She's one of those people who are hard to shop for, I think.

I also love when Pasdar says that she's his Moneypenny, because that summarizes the dynamic so perfectly. Even if Gail didn't entirely make sense to me. But she's amusing, so I don't mind.

Jesus, that must have been fun to write.

That would have been the best show ever to spec.

If I only had a brain...

I wonder whether there are shows such that, if you spec them, everybody moves away from you on the bench?

I suppose spec'ing any of the host of one-night wonders would do.

If wishes were horses we'd all be eating steak.

Fine, fine, fine. Crazy Buffista peer pressure. Profit added to my Netflix queue as well.

Whoo hoo!

I feel like I should be getting points. Is there a street team? Have I earned a pen yet?

Kristen, shouldn't you be asleep?
