Jeez, don't get all Movie of the Week. I was just too cheap to buy you a real present.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My dream director is David Fincher

Just think of the ten-minute CGI tracking shots through Luna City!

Hey. New board.

Your defense is good, Allyson. If I heard an announcement of a collaboration between Wes Anderson and Tim, I would no doubt celebrate.

One Hot Burrito!

I've watched I ::heart:: Huckabees a bunch lately. I'm not entirely convinced that David O'Russel couldn't pull it off.

Am I crazy?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I don't think it's a collaboration between the writer and director in film.

I think it's more like, Tim writes a brilliant script.

It is passed off to Paul Verhoeven is hired to direct.

Cast as follows:

Manny: Paul Walker
Wyoh: Halle Berry, wearing the Catwoman suit for no apparent reason
Prof: Robin Williams
Mike: Haley Joel Osment
The Warden: Gilbert Godfried
Alvarez: Ludacris

The story will be about how love can make the whole Moon sing, in perfect harmony.

Tim will be inconsolable for a week. Then he'll get over it and spend 15 days awake, hallucinating, doing something else.

If I get used to it now, I'll be pleasantly surprised later when it works out so much better.

I believe in preparing for the worst.

If I only had a brain...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's interesting, that moment when you pass from pre-migraine into an actual migraine.

I'm not entirely convinced that David O'Russel couldn't pull it off.

David O. Russell (it's an initial, not a prefix) is always my first choice to direct anything, because he is brilliant. Insane, but brilliant. (I thought I'd mentioned him in my post, but apparently I forgot to write that sentence.)

I don't think it's a collaboration between the writer and director in film.

You left out "script gets rewritten 12 million times by various committees of producers, script doctors, and focus groups."

I think Verhoeven would cast Lindsay Lohan.

Hey. New board.

Elton John is busy writing the music for a Lestat Broadway musical.

The sad thing is, I'm NOT making that up.

Nope, that's all finished. He's completely free.
