Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I finally finished my draft of "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress," and the response has been exceedingly strong. What's more, I kinda think I knocked it out of the park.

Yay, Tim! On all three counts. Looking forward to the final product.

One Hot Burrito!

Good job on "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress," I say. But going to the movies full time? That motion picture business is dicey ever since the talkies took over, they say.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Maybe I should not extend it and go do movies.

Will you put me in your will before you write the next screenplay? If you leave me enough for a house with a yard I'll take the beagles and the cat, too.

Or you could pinky swear that you'll get plenty of sleep and drink lots of orange juice.

"Don' be e-scared"

what makes you think writing movies will get me less sleep than when I'm in production on a season of tee vee?

"Don' be e-scared"

Allyson mentions this because she knows I was basically awake for eight days or two weeks finishing "Moon," but it wasn't really the kind of forcing myself awake I always end up doing on a show. It was the kind where I couldn't sleep until I got it out because I was into it. It was better!

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

So when do we get to read, er I mean see it, Tim?

I'll keep you updated.

It was the kind where there was a hacking cough and maybe some hallucinations.

If you're going to do movies, I'm going to insist on you getting some live-in help. Someone who can cook for you, do the laundry, and call for an ambulance.

Hey. New board.

On an up note, as a few here know, I finally finished my draft of "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress," and the response has been exceedingly strong. What's more, I kinda think I knocked it out of the park.

Fucking hell yeah!

Seriously, though, Moon is in my top five favoritest books ever (up there with East of Eden, The Sound and the Fury, Cryptonomicon, and Ender's game perhaps. Sometimes others threaten to encroach, but these five stay on my shelf and get top billing pretty regularly) and when I first got into Wonderfalls, and was reading about you on timminear.net, I latched onto this as evidence that all was right with the world. So I'm... excited. Very excited. Go Tim.

So you're saying there's a good kind of sleep deprivation?
