the interview wasn't that long ago and he's been gone from the show for a while because he did eps of The Inside right after he left Lost. i think. or maybe i'm talking out of my ass.

Probably because I stopped paying any attention after they reneged on their promise with the S1 finale. I went from loyal fan to meh, in the space of an hour.
This was DH. He announced immediately after the S1 finale, "We're not watching this show anymore." It didn't last. When we watch it now he always says, "they're making this up as they go along, aren't they?"
