No, as actors elected to office.
The tree was being hugged by a liberal, does that count?
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

It's interesting that Hollywood is easily 90% center-left leaning, but that most (all?) actors with any kind of name recog to have run for office have run center-right. I have a theory.
It might be bunnies?
Bono was a republican. Not a liberal.
'cause I'm pretty sure that tree acted alone, in Bono's case.
Naah. There was a grassy knoll.
George Murphy (of the Tom Lehrer song) was a Democrat, I think.
Fred Thompson's first claim to fame was as minority counsel to the Senate Watergate Committee. Then he played himself in the movie version of the corruption case he helped win against Tennessee governor Ray Blanton. Then he was in a couple more movies and then he was elected to the Senate.
Ben Jones (Cooter on Dukes of Hazard) used to be my representative and he was fairly liberal.
I have a theory.
Is it witches?
Who said Bono was a liberal?
OH! Glenda Jackson is far-Left, and she's an M.P. now
I think the Republican Party has successfully learned how to use their highest profile members to control public office?
