Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I think he was saying, I have played this character as a sidekick for 8 years. if I am going to commit to returning to him, I want to play him a the center of a the story. I want to play Spike as the person who does things, rather than the guy who snarks at people doing things. That doesn't seem odd to me. If any of the Scoobs said the same thing I would understand it.

What is even happening?

I agree. I think Tim makes a good point too, in that most actors would be thinking the same thing, and JM had the candor to say it, and it's not like he said it in a nasty way.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm not so much put off by his wanting to be the main character as his specifically mentioning other actors and saying it would be okay if they were in his movie but only if they don't upstage him. It seems a pointlessly petty way of getting his point across.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I will eat my cat if this movie actually happens.

If I only had a brain...

I wish I'd gotten a hug from Tim instead of a migraine Thursday night.

Hey, I wish I'd gotten a hug from Tim instead of a migraine last night.

Tim, if you prevent migraines, do you make house calls?

He calls people from his house.

The whole reason I got into this line of work was so I wouldn't have to do real things.

This is the same reason that people go into academia.

Tim? Nilly's Nillying in the Veronica Mars thread. Not to be missed.

I have hugged ita, but she was on crutches at the time, so it may not count.

I may have to seize the cat.

I think he was saying, I have played this character as a sidekick for 8 years.

I return to the spice/Spike metaphor. You don't want a whole dinner to just be seasoning. Spike works best as seasoning.

I will eat my cat if this movie actually happens.

I don't think she'd appreciate that. And you'll get a killer hairball.

I have hugged ita, but she was on crutches at the time, so it may not count.

I think the proper way to put it would be that ita hugged me. There was this awkward moment where it was like, "Do we hug?" And then we did. Anyway, yeah. Meeting ita, highlight of the premiere for me.

Life is eternal, Love is immortal, and death is only an illusion.

Do you have a cat?
