One Hot Burrito!

Not exactly what he says. From the chud.com interview:

Q: This might be more fanwank, but in Fray you have that bit where you touch on what happened to all the magic and demons and that didn’t happen at the end of Buffy, which I sort of expected. Is that the kind of thing we should just forget about?

Whedon: No, that’s actually something I hope to deal with, either in the Spike format or in another series of Fray.

Q: Are there plans for another series?

Whedon: That’s just me talking. But yeah, there’s a discrepancy there that I plan to explain. I have a vision for it.[/quote]

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Heh. He's wanking his own canon.

Uh...so to speak.

Hey, it's not my fault that fandom nomenclature had a built-in porny pun.

Fray the series?

Wow I hope so. But though Tim would be great, I think Joss would do a good job with it too.

Oh and Hec, insent to your profile email a few days ago.

Life is eternal, Love is immortal, and death is only an illusion.

I have a question.

In Fray, it shows a blond and says she was the last called slayer and after her fight all demons and magic disappeared.

Problem there is, the Slayer line ran through Faith. At least before they called all the other slayers. It ran through Faith the momment she was called.

So it could not be Buffy who had the last fight.

Right?

Well, sure, cause Jack? Could totally kick Aaron's ass.

It'd be fun to watch, though.

Being from outside N. America, the only way I could get a hold of Wonderfalls in any form was by reading the scripts that were posted online. I can clearly remember sitting in my cubicle and trying desperately to muffle what would be uproarious laughter if I had not been in my office at that time.

I can honestly say that I have never laughed and enjoyed any series' script so much. IMHO, no sitcom at that time even came close to the wonderfulness of Wonderfalls.

Although I had to wait for almost a year to see the actual series & buy the DVD, the writing for Wonderfalls was so beautiful that I felt the series come alive for me (as well as all the characters) even though I had never seen even a single episode of the show. Which is pretty remarkable when you think about it as Wonderfalls was not a novel but was meant for TV which is a visual medium.

As a side note, how do you know when you've got too much of Tim Minear on the brain?

When you're hurriedly glancing through the paper before rushing off to work in the morning and see an article titled "An Evening With Tim" and shout out loud "OMG, I can't believe Tim's in Malaysia! Where is this taking place?" before you realise that the article is actually speaking of some singer from New Zealand and am incredibly depressed throughout the day.
