there are certain flashback shots of her that remind me of Evan Rachel Wood.
Oooh. Yes. Want Once and Again Season Two DVDs right now, I do. Also, that movie with ERW and Ed Norton. Also, for ERW to become super-popular but not evil like so many other child actresses. Also, for her and Amber Tamblyn to do a project together. Okay, obsession over.
It's not like Tim put "Joan of Arcadia" on the marquee.
Totally should've. And I keep meaning to mention that I love your tag, and forgetting.
Also, yay Jane episode! Yay NEW episode! Yay Wednesday!
Too bad I still don't have a TV. I tried to buy one, but the one I wanted was not in stock at Circuit City. It was going to be a $600 impulse purchase too: they missed out hardcore.
Evan Rachel Wood is from NC. Her dad is a big deal here in theatre. I think secretly though he's running a child-star farm, because Frankie Muniz came out of his theatre too, as did a kid who was maybe the last or next to last Gavroche on Broadway.
If he trained his daughter, man's got skillz. She's one of my favorite actresses, and she's, what, 16? Totally ridiculous.
So much better than everybody else in Once and Again. I loved Season 1, but I'm hoping madly for more Jesse in Season 2 to make it even better. And I know I get more in Season 3, so hopefully there won't be ANOTHER 4 year break in DVD releases this time.
YAY FOR JANE EPISODE!!
Too bad I won't be able to watch it live cause there's a free showing of
Finding Neverland
at Top of the Park at 10.
A few weeks ago, I posted about someone claiming The Inside was a clone of Tru Calling. Since then, a "what are you watching" thread has started, and The Inside has been mentioned positively by a few people. Just thought I'd share.
And yes, I did link theinside.org
Uh.
What, exactly, does
The Inside
have in common with
Tru Calling
? Besides a female lead and the eventual hand of Jane Espenson?
"What's wrong with cake for breakfast?"
Nothing, if you're at all related to us.
Is that the maid from Wonderfalls?
There was a certain Buffy-reminiscent phrasing there. Not that Buffy's unique in that phrasing. I was just reminded of Buffy. And very much liked Mel's rationale.
I'm just posting as I think here. No deep insights or anything.

My words exactly. I didn't receive a response.
Loved Rebecca's awkwardness when talking about Paul's baby scan.
Last fall Lost and VM were neck and neck in terms of my investment, and over the season Lost ended up in the "barely watchable" category while VM became app't tv.
I loved
Lost
at first, and
VM
not so much. The
VM
love grew for me over the season.
Lost
managed to switch from one of my favorites to almost unwatchable in the finale. I mean, if they hadn't said from the beginning that they had answers, wimping out wouldn't have bugged me so much, but I rearranged my day and company to catch it, and it was completely not worthwhile. And this is me after I've calmed down about it a lot.
