The ability to chew real food without pain is a nice plus.
I can imagine. I'm not doubting the benefits of what you went through, I'm just amazed at the costs.
I bet you can even bite into ice cream bars, too. I was a dental phobe for 13 years, and when i conquered it and had my teeth drilled filled and otherwise repaired, I was thrilled at how much tolerance I had for hot and especially cold things.
It's just that $30K is a scary number.
It means you had some advanced work done. Stuff I hope never to do. And I probably skimmed over the details, if they were provided.
Still? ouch.
Kristen, inspired by your covetousness, I went out and bought that pink bike with the martini motif for JZ.
Yippee! Girl bike!! (Umm, you weren't planning on making this a surprise, were you, Hec?)
YAY! That's so cool. You'll have post pictures for us.

Sort of. But she went and read the board. How could I have anticipated that?! She was still excited and verklempt.

Will do.
For Largo:
Fansite for Homefront.

I don't know if anyone else has seen/mentioned this yet. If so, I apologize.
I was cleaning up the TiVo harddrive on Sunday and happen to see the preview of Fox's fall lineup was being touted - hosted by Randy Jackson (and MY GOD did I want to slap him for his overuse of the word "dog") Anyway, I wanted to see the preview for Bones and Kitchen Confidential so I watched. Imagine my shock and surprise when the opening montage contained a clip from The Inside! There was Danny saying "you know her problem?" and Web (in all his Web-ishness) saying "I know all your problems". Man, it was cruel for them to do that. To make matters worse, the show they are promoting the most? Prison Break. Every preview I've seen makes this show look so stupid, and The Inside gets the shaft. *sigh*

Everywhere I go, I see
Prison Break.
Billboards, bus shelters, queens on the sides of coaches. It's quite irritating.
Though I will say, having seen the pilot, it doesn't suck. I'm just still unclear on how they're going sustain the premise over multiple seasons.
The pilot for Prison Break was more interesting and charismatic than the one for Bones, by far.
It's just the premise that gets me. Your brother conveniently designs the prison he subsequently is sent to so in order to "clear" him, you comit a crime and get thrown in the same prison to break him out??? It just seems so far out for a non-fantasy based show. Yeah, I know vampires, etc but I dunno if I can suspend my belief for this (do they at least tell you how the brother gets sent to the exact same prison? Wouldn't the corrections board not want them in the same facility?)
