She played the crazy blond chick, right, the one who murdered Anne?
Close. Robin Mattson played Heather on GH, but Heather didn't murder Anne Logan. She murdered Ross Duncan...which happened years later. And Anne wasn't murdered. Heather tried to frame Anne for the murder of Diana Taylor, who had been foster-mom to her son, Steven Lars, spelling Anne's name with Diana's blood on the floor. But Heather's mother, Alice Grant, turned out to be the real culprit.
She also took LSD, which sent her to the mental hospital.
Right. Only, Heather didn't know she had ingested the drug until it was too late. The LSD was meant for Diana Taylor. Not only had Diana gained custody of Steven Lars, she also married his biological father, Dr. Jeff Webber, whom Heather still loved; and, well, Heather wanted Diana out of the way, and Jeff and Steven Lars all to herself!
Unfortunately, someone turned the lazy susan by accident, and Heather ended up w/ the spiked iced-tea.
ETA: Don't you hate it when that happens?
Also: Oops. Diana hadn't married Jeff when Heather flipped out. She was still married to Peter Taylor. Her and Jeff's marriage happened later. Sorry for the discrepancy.
Hmmm. Is he [Geary] on the show, still?
Yes, although he takes long vacations 1-2 times each year.
Last time I checked, too, Anne Logan was still alive, and living away from Port Charles with her adopted son, Jeremy Hewitt. Because details about Liz and Sarah Webber's mom are sketchy, at best (Who is she? Did Jeff meet her when he moved to Vegas? If Liz and Sarah are as old as they are, then, wouldn't that mean he had to have met her when he was still in PC?), I'd like to think that Anne and Jeff reunited, off-screen, and (finally) married; and that Anne gave birth to the girls.
Oh dear, they're cloning Allysons now.
And I'll bet you Stefano DiMera Stefan Cassadine Helena Cassadine is behind it, too.
Tim should create a soap, or use a bunch of soap actors in his next show. The ones who can act are well-trained. You won't find any problem with them learning their lines. They learn books of dialog per week.
There are def producers out there that do this-- take, say,
Las Vegas.
I think Aaron Spelling does it, as well. Soap actors are total pros.
You know, in all our talk about AW and Chad the former pimp, I can't believe we never discussed Crystal Gale. I would say it was one of the best "celebrity" roles on a soap but John Waite still cracks my shit up.

Oh, Diana Taylor! That's right. I was watching then, but I'd forgotten all that.
The actress who played Diana also played Rebecca, on DooL, who married Robert (Roh-bair) LeClair friend of Doug Williams (I think Doug got Rebecca pregnant, maybe as a sperm donor or a favor, because Rebecca didn't want Robert to know he was sterile). The actor who played Robert--Robert Clary, was Cpl. LeBeau on
Hogan's Heros.
Per IMDB, he's been on Y&R, and B&B, too.

Did they play themselves or some characters? I remember Carol Burnett playing a friend of Myrtle Fargate's on "All My Children." MOre recently, Rosie O'Donnell played some maid for Adam Chandler on the soap.
I have no idea what you people are talking about. Oh yes. Cuss the UK's lack of US soaps.
Right, because if there's anything you folks in the UK need, its the umpteenth version of the Hooker-with-the-Heart-of-Gold marries the Rich Billionaire (who just happens to live in this backwater town) and gives birth to twins who age into adults in 5 years, where one becomes the Evil Twin and tries to have her sister, mom and dad committed, or killed, or banished to the About to be Cancelled Spin-off.
