"Being hungover is like winning the lottery, except they pay you in regret!" - T-Rex

So did we air in Canada? Just curious.

Nope. We got Fear Factor instead. For some odd reason guess they got the update for Fox but not Global.

For some reason I've never thought of the Big 3 networks in the quasi-personal way I have about Fox, the WB, and UPN.

I've never thought about any of the networks that way myself, only the shows. Just happens that the big 3 never seem to have the shows that I get attached to enough to be angry about their cancellation. Only example I can think of that was on one of the big 3 is Cupid.

I think you can group FOX in with the the Big 3 at this point. They seem to need Big 3-type ratings numbers much more than UPN or WB does.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

That's a lot of Romans there. Of course my entire retained knowledge of DooL (from way back when -- the exGF watched religiously and we needed two tvs and vcrs so she could tape DooL and I could tape GH.) is the quote from some show runner that if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's a Hope. And it won't go away, someone says the duck thing and my brain helpfully pipes in with "it's a Hope." I can't remember how to make a page number in Quark without checking the help file today but I remember the damn Hope/duck thing.

Cindy, are there multiRomans now? Or has Josh now gone back to playing Chris?

Because, funny.

ETA: Also I have no love for Billy Warlock ever since the ugly Marcy Walker split.

Frankie and Cass are *so* close the mambo horizontalia

Man, they did Frankie so wrong in end, though. So wrong.

Yeah, that is a lot of Romans. Is Wayne Northrup playing a Roman? Or is he some other character?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I mean, they moved it to Fridays, asked the producers to dumb down the storylines, and added Vanessa Williams to the cast.

I know! Poor puppy jumped through all the hoops and not only got no treat, but got shipped off to the pound.

I'm gonna go buy the DVDs right now.

oh! t! Maybe Wayne is playing Chris. That would be even better.

What is even happening?

About DooL

Well, I didn't see Wayne Northrup, today. Josh was playing Roman, today. He was with Sami, Kate, Lucas, and other people I disremember. My mother said that the Wayne Northrup character was talking to John Black, but then the Wayne Northrup character had a flashback about himself and Marlena. My aunt swears that the other day, the Wayne Northrup character had a flashback about John and Marlena, but when John thought he was Roman. My mother didn't see that, so I don't know.

Kristen, what happened with that divorce? Did he do her wrong? I was just looking him up on imdb. He's been engaged about three times, but there's no mention of that marriage in his bio. Also, I forgot how old he was. He's like 44. I remember knowing he looked younger than he was.

NBC may not be such a bad place for a new Tim show. They don't have anywhere near the history of short-shrifting shows that Fox does.

Oh, how quickly we forget "Buffalo Bill."

Y'all need to stop talking 'bout "Another World." You're just re-opening old wounds for me. Same goes for "Freaks & Geeks." And I don't even want to go into what's happening over at the emotional compass which is (for me) "Guiding Light" (but that's on another network, so let's not).

If you're reading right now, Kristen? Apologies.

Ow, Cindy. My head hurts from considering all that. Oy, I may have to go look for some recaps. Curses!
