Well Friday night is the death slot. Had H:LOTS proven it's worth they'd have moved it too. And they did try boosting the ratings with at least one Sunday viewing stunt-cast (Robin Williams) and several L&O crossovers.

Well, Medical Investigation deserved to be cancelled -- Boomtown did not.
Boomtown also didn't deserve to be screwed around with the way it was.

I never watched Boomtown, but from what I've heard it was really good, and I'm completely mystified as to why they cancelled it. Or why they renewed it just to cancel it. Like with Tru Calling.

Though they're smarting pretty fierce from the snake bite so I won't kick 'em while they're down. Probably.

That's the real question. I mean, they moved it to Fridays, asked the producers to dumb down the storylines, and added Vanessa Williams to the cast. Did anyone think it had a chance?

Reilly clearly has a multiyear overall deal with Satan.Clearly. Did you watch DOOL? My mother and aunt were here today at lunch time (and we ate late) so I TiVoed it for them. I haven't watched it in ages. Apparently, although I didn't seem him today, Wayne Northrup (original Roman) is back. John Black is still on, and Current Roman (who is played by Josh Taylor who, played DOOL's Chris Kositchek) is still on. Also, Frankie (Billy Warlock) is back.
I was almost all caught up, after years and years away, even though I was cleaning the kitchen and dealing with the kids while my mother and aunt sat down to watch it.

Nope. We got Fear Factor instead. For some odd reason guess they got the update for Fox but not Global.
For some reason I've never thought of the Big 3 networks in the quasi-personal way I have about Fox, the WB, and UPN.
I've never thought about any of the networks that way myself, only the shows. Just happens that the big 3 never seem to have the shows that I get attached to enough to be angry about their cancellation. Only example I can think of that was on one of the big 3 is Cupid.

I think you can group FOX in with the the Big 3 at this point. They seem to need Big 3-type ratings numbers much more than UPN or WB does.
