[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

"There are two sorts of people in the world: those who believe Joss Whedon is a genius and those who are wrong." - Connie Ogle, Miami Herald

Cass, I'm off from work tomorrow, but I'll check the store computer on Tuesday and see the online ordering status of the monkey bookends. I thought I had my box around here somewhere so I could at least grab the ISBN, but I can't find it at the moment.

ETA: Googling found the ISBN, but it looks like BN.com no longer has them. I'll have to check if we still have them in store. I don't recall seeing them lately.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I really want the studious monkey.

If they are actually in a store, Hidden, I could maybe deal with real people for it. Otherwise, I'll froogle for it.

I'll post something in this thread when I check on Tuesday. If we don't have them but they're at another store in my area, I'd be willing to get them for you. Unlike some of the other monkey bookends on the net, I'm pretty certain this is the same set used in the show.

That would be great. If you check other stores, I am in San Diego and monkey love beats my loathing of people so I would go into an actual store.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I got all excited today as I saw a BBC News story about dead babies - [link] - unfortunately, it turned out to be nothing to do with The Inside, but actual dead babies.

My mind has been twisted.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Sci-Fi is showing a Good vs. Evil marathon right now, so I watched an episode with lunch, the one about Kevin Williamson a Hollywood producer who takes actors' souls. I came for the cleavage, and I stayed...for the promise of more cleavage.

But it was pretty fun and entertaining, though. The parodic elements were really amusing ( I Still Know Who You Are and I Still Know What You Did Last Winter 5, Dunbar's Lake, the Quentin Tarantino figure ). Some of the weird stylistic choices were jarring, but at least it had a style.

Thanks, Hidden! I got it (after I clicked on my name to recall what my profile addy even was, as it has become the longest day from utter Hell in the last hour and a half) and replied. Perfectly normal monkey!

Bloody hell. Wonderfalls airing on Sky One in the UK has been going for 4 weeks without problem at prime time. Tune in last night: it's gone. Have a scrabble about on the programming guide and find out they've punted it to midnight now.

Argh.
