Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Oh, that. Sure.

Hey, this isn't like when you invite us all over to your place to watch stuff, but then you don't give anyone the address, right?

For reals?

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Tim, are you still thinking about that plan to write the perfect show for Fox and then sell it to ABC? It might just work.

All is well that ends in pizza.

How about a Heinlein anthology series, featuring all of his short stories?

Not ready to throw in the towel on hour drama just yet.

True. I mean, if "Robin's Hoods" didn't scare you away from TV, let alone the one-hour drama, then you're a far better man then I am, Gunga Tim.

Also, I haven't been off the air since I started writing for prime time with "Lois and Clark." It's been almost a decade.

And to think: we have the creators and original showrunners for "Scarecrow & Mrs. King" to thank for that.

Man, but that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

ETA: Yes, I am a TV snob. But, 1) I don't apologize for having high standards; and 2) come on, "Scarecrow" was AWFUL.

Beard, or someone's re-doing Three's Company, with only two at their rendezvous.

Bwah! I too thought "His landlord is Mr. Roper?"

There's something hinky about it though... he reassures applicants that he's goodlooking, which would be irrelevant if he just wants them as a friend or roommate. Also, why on earth would he specifically require a live-in girlfriend? Who would rent only to couples but not to a single guy?

This is what I am saying. And then FOX will be soooo jealous. They'll send flowers and chocolates and stuff. But Tim should say he moved and give them my address, so I can have the flowers and chocolates.

And when they call begging for him to take them back, I'll be all, "I'm sorry, Tim can't come to the phone, ABC is busy feeding him grapes."

My landlord rents almost exclusively to single, cutiehead women.

Grapes? ABC is Disney's b***h. They'd probably feed him snack cakes emblazoned w/ Mickey Mouse's mug.

Even the most stable brain operates just a millimeter from madness.

I hadn't even heard about Strange World before. Now I crave it like Nicklas crave his cookies.

And I my coffee.

It's about 2:47am around here, but I could really go for a cup of coffee.

edited to correct that time-thing. I was, like, 12 hours off. I blame the late night following the sad day.

Shhhhh. We're engaging in positive imaging.
