And Kaylee, what the hell's goin' on in the engine room? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose?

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

"From an economic standpoint ... it's because it is the day before movies open," said Garth Ancier, chairman of The WB. With films opening Friday, movie studios routinely buy ad time Thursday night. All the networks gun for young viewers, because they're the target audience of most movies today. Thursday is useful for other advertisers, Ancier said, because it's the night "before people make their spending decisions of where they're going to shop this weekend. Thursday has long been the most important night in terms of advertising dollars.

Ah. I never got this before.

Art Crawl!!!

Stuff for Lost really isn't too spoilery -- but the Alias spoilers are much bigger.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Not having read the article, I'm going to guess that Rachel Nichols IS Michael Vaughn!

Art Crawl!!!

Bwah!

I fought the law and I won!

How about bringing Adam Baldwin or Jay Harrington to Alias as well? In the article Allyson linked to it says they're creating a new male role that has yet to be cast.

Rachel Nichols on Alias?!?!?! YAY!

Though it sounds a bit risky to me... it could overload the Talented Female Sexiness factor somewhat!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Wait, holy shit, you're right. Jennifer Garner, Mia Maestro, and Rachel Nichols all in the same place?

Yes. It could get scary.

I may have to watch from behind the sofa.

Even the most stable brain operates just a millimeter from madness.

Rachel Nichols will be on Alias next season.
Just read this on whedonesque.com, and it made me make a big groaning sound. And not because of the Talented Female Sexiness factor (I don't know who Mia Maestro (will google in a sec) is and think Jennifer Garner looks kinda like a male transvestite, and J.J Abrams work strike me as pretty darn overrated so far, but I digress), but because I'm no fan of Alias at all. Plus, I still held hope that all wasn't over for The Inside yet and this news is the first that really seem to put those nails firmly in the coffin.

Gorram.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

First thing we need to do is get rid of Mia Maestro. That'll fix some stuff.

Fredrik, The Inside's over. Overover. Here's to making sure the cast can put food on their tables/pay mortgages on their Malibu homes.
