I thought that was stated explicitly.
It was.
Ok, I was obviously not paying close enough attention. Sorry.
'The Girl in Question'
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

"Reunion"...I was entertained by the pilot, but I don't think Fox will be picking up this show for a full season.
And yet, somehow, I just can't seem to care. </ "Reunion" joke>
I'll be watching Prison Break. I like that guy whose name I'm forgetting far too much not to.
New to the board - I love The Inside and am very unhappy that Fox hasn't been better to it. However, I also vowed not to get involved with it as I assumed it would be cancelled because Fox cancels all of the shows I enjoy. I may be in the minority, but I loved Tru Calling; also Wonderfalls (not a minority with that one!). Tim Minear being hooked with the Inside as well as Richard Hatem (Tru Calling, Miracles and Mothman Prophecies movie which didn't do well enough in theatres, either) and I knew it was doomed. Which also told me I'd love it. Dammit - the latest two episodes were so good. It was great to have an episode away from Locke, and the next one looks fantastic. Fox has to start trying harder to give shows life. This one has long-term winner written all over it. Thanks for an interesting board, everyon!
I'm halfway through last night's double feature.
Kicks feet and throws tantrum.
This is so not fair.
Welcome Assirac!

I assumed this as well which makes it even more important to see it weekly. Fox does have a tendancy to cancel shows I like but so do the other networks (Eyes on ABC).
Each weeks episodes keep getting better and better. I wasn't sure of whether I would like the show or not, but now I definately like it.
Paul had to come back at the end of the episode to make the last scene work, I know that. But I would've liked an episode with Rebecca working with Danny and Mel on a case without having Paul around as a safety net.
Last night's eps were, IMnotsoveryHO, by far the best yet. I lovedlovedloved the first one, especially since it seemed to address some of my concerns about this being The Rebecca Show. The more I see of Mel and Danny, the more I love them. And, as my friend put it, the twists seemed real, not just there to be twisty.
I was a little worried about the second one, because it sounded less intriguing going into it. Then I saw that it was co-written by our Tim, and the tension went way up. It had to be good, yet I wasn't sure that it would be. Oh, me of little faith. I should have known Tim would come through! The Inside love has grown slowly with me, but I'm glad I stuck it through, because these eps alone were worth it, and now I am dying to see what they do with Web.
Ratings slowly creeping up, not that it matters.
At 9 p.m., the "Dancing" finale, which saw Monaco and Alec Mazo beat out John O'Hurley and Charlotte Jorgensen, soared to a 13.9/23. NBC was a distant second with another "Law & Order," 5.6/9. CBS stayed in third with "The King of Queens," 3.2/5, and "Yes, Dear," 3.0/5. A second episode of "The Inside" on FOX improved slightly to 2.6/4. The WB dropped down to fifth with "Smallville," which finished ahead of "Veronica Mars" on UPN
I'm keeping my eyes blurred while I scroll through here to post, as I'm halfway through last night's second ep.
Damn, I was tense during the scene when Paul home with the music playing. I've half been expecting Paul's wife to be toast, and was so sure she'd be all heart-free upstairs, even though that's how it was set up and I should obviously have expected a misdirection or a cat in the closet.
I wish I hadn't missed the Watch and Post last night. Back to the ep.
