Unless marine guy wanted the perp out of jail so he could torture/kill him, I don't see why he did it.
That was what I got from it. Since he (perp) didn't get the death penalty, he (army boy) wanted to finish the job himself.
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

I thought that was stated explicitly.

It was.
About 300 messages ago, someone mentioned "Prison Break" and "Reunion." I saw the first eps of both shows, and if PB could do a "24" crossover, that show could last for a very long time. In any event, there's a conspiracy at the center of PB (no more further details from me) which might prove to be interesting over several seasons.
"Reunion"...I was entertained by the pilot, but I don't think Fox will be picking up this show for a full season. I would be surprised if large audiences run to this show. It has a couple of plot conceits that feel very "Lace" (you know, the '80s miniseries where Phoebe Cates was trying to find out which woman was her mother?) - (BTW this is an analogy, not one thing to do with actual plot events) and consequently very dated.

Ok, I was obviously not paying close enough attention. Sorry.

And yet, somehow, I just can't seem to care. </ "Reunion" joke>
I'll be watching Prison Break. I like that guy whose name I'm forgetting far too much not to.
New to the board - I love The Inside and am very unhappy that Fox hasn't been better to it. However, I also vowed not to get involved with it as I assumed it would be cancelled because Fox cancels all of the shows I enjoy. I may be in the minority, but I loved Tru Calling; also Wonderfalls (not a minority with that one!). Tim Minear being hooked with the Inside as well as Richard Hatem (Tru Calling, Miracles and Mothman Prophecies movie which didn't do well enough in theatres, either) and I knew it was doomed. Which also told me I'd love it. Dammit - the latest two episodes were so good. It was great to have an episode away from Locke, and the next one looks fantastic. Fox has to start trying harder to give shows life. This one has long-term winner written all over it. Thanks for an interesting board, everyon!
I'm halfway through last night's double feature.
Kicks feet and throws tantrum.
This is so not fair.
Welcome Assirac!

I assumed this as well which makes it even more important to see it weekly. Fox does have a tendancy to cancel shows I like but so do the other networks (Eyes on ABC).
Each weeks episodes keep getting better and better. I wasn't sure of whether I would like the show or not, but now I definately like it.
