I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

and the continued silence on a projected upcoming flu pandemic is deafening.

Isn't it just? And folks are a lot more mobile now than in 1918. A nasty strain of flu could get around the world twice before becoming symptomatic.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Anyplace too far to walk is too far to go.

Some days, my bathroom qualifies as "too far to walk."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Some days, my bathroom qualifies as "too far to walk."

And what do you do then? Do you drive to the bathroom? NO YOU DO NOT.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

You can use your hovercraft? Mine is full of eels.
