Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm helping my mother visit her sister before she (my mother) goes to a conference near where her sister lives, which is also near Vancouver.

Tomorrow, we drive to Lillooet, which as far as I can tell isn't near anything.

Lillooet
It's fun to pretend to say though. Have a good trip. So damn pretty there.

I just realized that I have a client meeting in the morning. I am unthrilled.

move out and draw fire

Drive-by to post this [link] image...I like to think the graphic artist was having the twits who run MARC on. But maybe we're getting so fascist we're starting to show.

Off to celebrate my 14th (!) anniversary, somehow. See you guys next week.

I have a question for Central Time Zone people -- do you have to be at work at 8am?

you got it. though i'm a rare breed because i only work 8-4.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm on Eastern Time and have to be at work at 8. With a 20-mile commute.

It means 10:00 p.m. shows get TiVoed and watched the next evening.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I rearranged my hours so I come in at 9:30... but today I'm in at 8:30 instead.

t tries to look non-bleary

Our wings are not tired.

My morning starts early too. 10pm shows are next day if possible. TDS is the 10am repeat the next day if possible.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

8am as the regular start of work sucks. I mean, I know people who get in before then because they want to, but please let me never have a job where I have to be there at 8!!

I'm actually worried about Katie Holmes. She doesn't seem to realize that she's a beard. She seems to be genuinely in love/limerance/infatuated.

No, she really doesn't. Or at least didn't on Letterman.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

8-5 is standard here. Not getting any work done before 9:00 is too.
