It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Any rhetoriticians around? What's the term for saying your opponent is guilty of whatever you are really guilty of?

Hypocrisy, double standards.

So the discussion about refresh rate yesterday...does a higher one give headaches or what? What's the measure here?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Projection?

Also, a few weeks ago Newsweek had an interview with an engineer from Honda's NA division. I have loved all Hondas I or my family have ever owned, but after reading the interview, I'm ready to say I'll never own another make.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bipedal Exo-Skeletal Semi-Robotic Vehicle for sale on eBay. You ride in it.

Only $40,000.

The thing weighs 3000 lbs, and only has an 18 hp motor? That can't be good.

Oh man. You just know some teenage girl from Osaka with a rich father is going to buy that and be terrorizing criminals by Christmas.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

does a higher one give headaches or what?

It does me. But other people were complaining that my low refresh rates were driving them nuts (they could see a flickering that my slow eyes can't). If I could have seen that, it might have given me a headache too.

From skimming the web, it seems my high refresh rate problem was that I was pushing the monitor's top limit, and that often results in a crap image.

Lower refresh rates give some people (like me) headaches.

I think 60hz is at the bottom end. 75hz is the minimum if you are susceptible to these headaches.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

What bugged in the interview, Heather?
