Sometimes when I'm sitting in class... You know, I'm not thinking about class, 'cause that would never happen. I think about kissing you. And it's like everything stops. It's like, it's like freeze frame. Willow kissage.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm just saying what you do when no ones around.

And interrupt my cutting and other solitary pain-seeking activities? I just don't have the time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw... the orignal Charlie Bucket. He's a vet!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Speaking of Roald Dahl and real people, he named Sophie in The BFG after his granddaughter. I didn't realize that Sophie Dahl grew up to be a famous model.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Are we discussing Dahl because of the short profile of him in the New Yorker this past week? If so, then woo hoo for context! If not, then I am informing you all of same.

He was gigantically tall, it turns out.

I just got back from Tealuxe, which company is offering pearl tea now. I'm not really a fan of The Original Pearl Tea, because unsweet tapioca tastes like nothing and chewing on balls of same feels like snot or rubber. But Tealuxe's tapioca is slightly sweet! And they let you add pearls to any iced tea you want.

Just the American bastardization I was looking for!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

uh-oh - the tapioca pearl tea discussion again!

No, but I just bought Emmett the recently published D Is For Dahl alphabetical bio. Which is jam packed with interesting bits.

6'6 isn't gigantic. It's ... really nice.
