I had hot dogs this weekend! In buns, even. I would have had ketchup and sweet relish, but I had no relish, so the ketchup sat lonely on the hot dog.
(I do not believe in adding things to the hot dog that effectively make it Hot Dog Soup, like gallons of chili or cheese or onions or cabbage. Even if I liked all these things, and I do like some of them, they kind of ruin the whole idea of hot dog as hand-food.)
Balsamic vinegar and strawberries sounds like it could be a nice combination.
There's an Italian salad with strawberries and red onions and (I think) watercress that has a balsamic dressing and is delish.

It's the universal convo spoke.
I don't think I've eaten a hotdog since 1988.
Hot dogs aren't food, they're industrial waste and red dye #6. I can sympathize with the idea of wanting to disguise industrial waste with a lot of condiments though.
I've heard some people put mayo on their grilled cheese before feeding it to their cat!
Argh! bon bon edited to add mayo to the cats....
