Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Would that be tropical storm Arlene?

Seems so. Looks like Alabama will get some rain:

We get into Atlanta from here at 4:30 pm Sunday and take off for B'ham at 6:00, so if it follows that track, it shouldn't be much of an issue.

That said, I'll be worried if Mom doesn't worry at us about it, because it would be completely out of character for her not to, if it were even just an ordinary front with a few stray tornados somewhere along its length, and it'd make me think there was more going on with Dad than they're telling us.

Our wings are not tired.

Arlene may be headed to Alabama but we'll still get wet. [link]

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Peoplesforum is apparently going for-pay on June 30.

Actually, it looks like Peoplesforum is going away completely, to be replaced by a similar pay forum under new management.

Yo. Does anyone know if this place needs money? Is donations@buffistas.org still active? You guys are one of my favorite charities. I mean, if I'm going to support stupid stuff like AIDS research, I better be funding Whedon-Minear talk, too, right? I mean, moral balance is important.

jengod! How are ya?

AFAIK, we're in good shape financially, but donations@b.org is still active, and still accepts contributions.

Hmm.

I had an Evite from a former coworker, and I kept forgetting to reply to it, cause I couldn't go there during the work day (it's blocked), and it was sent to my work email. So today I finally clicked on it? And I've been disinvited.

::sigh::

brillig

For some reason my company's filter blocks the National Weather Service site. Those meteorologists must be getting up to some funky shit.
