Hmm.
I had an Evite from a former coworker, and I kept forgetting to reply to it, cause I couldn't go there during the work day (it's blocked), and it was sent to my work email. So today I finally clicked on it? And I've been disinvited.

Stoopid blocked sites. I hate that.
For some reason my company's filter blocks the National Weather Service site. Those meteorologists must be getting up to some funky shit.
For awhile, the State of Alaska was blocking its employees from most dogsledding sites. Go figure.
They did finally remove this block from at least some.
Damn near everything is blocked nowadays. I spend my time at Slate and MSNBC. ::shrugs::
But the disinvite! I've been dissed!
Anything on geocities is blocked--with all the pop-ups I"m not surprised--but there's oodles of fic out there.
Maybe the do was cancelled? Otherwise, she's an idiot and rude.
Disinviting? That's harsh. I mean, sending a "Yo! Answer me!" follow-up - sure thing. Or just seething silently. But disinviting? Nuh-uh. Maybe it was a mistake. I don't do e-vites enough to know whether you can accidentally disinvite someone when, say, you were marking them as not having responded or something.
Go to the party anyway! I mean, if it turns out you're gatecrashing, it's less rude than the takeback.
I don't have to be at work until 10:00 tomorrow, and it's the Scarlett Johansson Robot Chicken tonight.
The question is, will I be able to stay awake that long?
