(AB+, sometimes in demand)
My sister's AB+, and she's always being called in.
My mom was told she couldn't give blood because of some sort of hep exposure when she was young, but a few years ago someone told her she could.
My mom was the same, but the policy did change just a few years ago.
Evacing Norleans?
The hurricane is hitting there that bad?
(I guess I could google it, but y'all are faster.)
I can't give, but my blood type is very common (A+) and is rarely in critical need.
See! Supafast.
Wow, it's really supposed to jet way inland. Even up to So. Mo., which is so weird for me. No one I know in Eastern SoMO, tho.
Another q, possibly cereal:
What's the restrictions on giving? I don't, because I am horribly needle-phobic, to the point of my doc gives me a Valium before a blood test.
I know it used to be not within a year of a tat or piercing, and also not if you lived in Europe within 2 years. Is there anything else?

It's not an opfficial evac, Erin. People are just leaving because Cindy was worse than we expected and there weren't any good hurricane parties to help with the laissez fairness.
So, wait, Kathy A, you're AB+ and your sister is AB-? That's neat.
My family is like a whaddayacallit square. Mom is B Dad is A brother is B, I'm AB and sis is O. All positive, though.
Woot! Beat you by nine seconds.
