And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

speculations, accusations, and wrong unchecked facts

I guess I don't feel like I've heard much of that this morning. The reporting (at least on NPR/BBC) has been very good, I've thought.

I am having a hard time focusing on anything else, so I'm OK with there being lots of information.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I'm freaking a little. Liverpool St. station is across the street from my old office. Of course, my friends were slackers, so I'm hoping that they were running late this morning.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

So angry right now. So fucking angry. If you showed me someone from Al Qaeda right now I'd happily pull the trigger myself.

And in a less murderous way, I'm pretty damn furious at someone on another list I'm on who was all, "Oh my God and I was just making London travel plans!" Way to make it all about you. And way to be a coward. I was longing yesterday for the day when I'll be in London again, and I'm still longing for it today.

Nora, that's good to read. Thanks for the updates, and more vibes.

Good for them and their audience, then.

Vortex, congrats! [Edit: um, on your "Beep Me" post, not your last Natter one, of course. I hope your friends are all safe]

What is even happening?

Vortex, good on ya. Congrats!

Nora, I'm so glad Tom's been in touch with his dad. Please let us know when you hear from the others.

Heh, this kind of makes me laugh, how shallow people can be.

my co-worker doesn't let a conversation about London pass without saying something like, "well, it's too bad that happened over there, but I just hope that it won't start happening here." I don't know why this bugs so much. Possibly because I have personal stakes over there, as well as here. I guess what she is saying makes sense, if one doesn't.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I found a website of live London traffic cams. [link] None of the cams are showing anything; it looks like they've all been shut down.
